Final Mock Draft

We are a day away from the first selection of the 2017 NFL Draft. With rumors and smokescreens everywhere you look, I bring to you my estimation of how the first round will shake out on Thursday evening. 1. Not a fan of the Titans using neither 1st Rd pick to help bolster their current biggest weaknesses:

The lack of a “shutdown CB”, and the lack of a deep threat receiver. I’m certainly and totally down with the Jabril Peppers pick though. Thanks!

    • I agree and I think they will grab a CB early in the draft. I went back and forth on their second pick here. Thanks for the feedback!

      • I like those picks for Tennessee, Hooker is my favorite safety and will help the CBs he plays with and Corey Davis is the best WR in the class IMO. CB is definitely a need though, but they can grab a Kevin King in the second

    • Rams GM should be fired for giving up all those picks and to move to the number one spot and draft Goff while passing on Wentz. Things that can set a team back three or more years.

    • Interesting observation. So when the Cowboys went 1-15 a few years (decades?) ago and traded for all those draft picks they weren’t “rebuilding”. Hot take. 5 stars.

  2. As a 49er fan and season ticket holder, id like to see M. Garrett drop to #2. The offense can improve with a WR in the 2nd round but I think there will be available qbs to draft in the third to learn the system for a season. Our defense is ass and needs improvements all over the board besides defensive line. Would be cool if they traded back into the first and grabbed R.Foster to pair with Garrett but that’s a lot to ask for and would require a lot of picks to be traded.

  3. Mike Williams is a fine player, but Bengals clearly need an edge rusher and besides Tyler Boyd, they are happy with the progress of young Cody Core and Brandon LaFell. I think they will go DE here and my guess is it’s Derek Barnett

  4. Bills can make a defensive statement,all,49era years ago w Bowman,Willis,Davis….draft foster,to go w raglans,then,jarred Davis,florgators,lbkto run sideline to sideline..he’s compared to ray Lewis..it wld b dominating,best blk,NH Corp ever

  5. As a Denver fan, I see it as a 30-40% chance that Elway takes an OL. However, if he does, he may be leaning towards Ramczyk or Forrest Lamp, not Bolles.

  6. There is no way GB drafts Teez Tabor in round 1. They have a tall slow guy already in the secondary. Expect an OLB in rd 1 unless Lattimore or Humphreys falls!!

  7. Davis Webb to my Giants at #23. April 1st has long passed. How can you be taken seriously when you make a pick like that. This is a Hackenberg pick. It’s worse because it’s in the 1st RD and they have Eli Manning. There is no rush to draft a QB especially a reach like this. I’ll bet my house that this never happens.
