Anthony Dixon

Pros

Cons

Overall

Anthony Dixon profiles as a power running back who runs between the tackles very effectively, and has proven that at the very least he can be a goal line back who can pick up short yardage situations. I am of the belief that Dixon is capable of being a starting running back at the next level, while he doesn't have the ideal speed for the position, he is very effective at what he does, almost always breaks the first tackle, is a patient runner who hits the hole hard when available, and is extremely tough to tackle. He also has had issues controlling his weight, and controlling the football, those are 2 things he certainly needs to take care of, but if he does I think Dixon can have a big role in an N.F.L backfield, and at the very least be a short yardage back. Should get picked sometime in the 3rd or early 4th round.
