A.J Edds isn't a flashy player, but overall he gets the job done and will probably be a reliable starter at the next level. Has good bulk, and decent speed for his size. Has great instincts and flows to the football, a reliable tackler, and does a solid job in zone and man coverage. He is a guy who does everything well but nothing great, only limited athleticism, has a hard time keeping up with smaller, quicker players. Isn't going to be seen flying into the backfield making a big tackle for loss or sack (Only 1 career sack). A.J Edds has the potential to be a longtime starter at strong side linebacker in the N.F.L, but surely won't be making any pro-bowls. Should get picked somewhere around the 4th round.
