Anthony McCoy

Pros

Cons

Overall

Anthony McCoy profiles as likely the best blocking tight end in this years class. Has excellent size, extends his arms well, and acts as a 6th offensive lineman. And while he is not a dynamic receiver, or a deep threat, he is very capable of being a reliable pass catcher underneath, and a good safety blanket for any quarterback. He is ready to play at the next level, as he has the size, athleticism, and blocking ability to allow him to be effective as a rookie. McCoy likely will never be a Dallas Clark type offensive weapon, but compares well to a Heath Miller/Kevin Boss type player. McCoy should get picked somewhere in the third round.
