Pros

Cons

Overall

Arthur Jones is a very underrated play by most, mainly because he played on a terrible Syracuse team, missed the second half of last season, and doesn't really excel in any 1 certain aspect. Jones is as well rounded as they come, he a very good combination of size and athleticism, is very smart, reliable in gap control, and is a very good tackler for a defensive lineman. He does everything well and has few weaknesses. Jones could play as a nose tackle in a 4-3, or he could play the 5 technique in a 3-4, as a guy with the size to take on blockers and the athleticism to penetrate. We would like to see Jones be a little more physical and nasty in the trenches, and the torn pectoral muscle is a minor concerns. Jones is a very low risk player who should be a starter as a rookie, and for many years in the N.F.L. Jones is a 3rd round prospect.
