Eric Berry

Pros

Cons

Overall

Eric Berry is an extraordinary athlete and the best safety prospect to come out since Ed Reed, and the two draw strong comparisons. Berry like Reed, has a knack for reading the Quarterbacks eyes and diagnosing plays early which allow him to get great breaks on the ball and use his great speed to intercept passes and break up plays. He lined up a lot at cornerback at college, but excelled at safety and would be most valuable there, although he did show he is great in man coverage against both big receivers and has great agility and speed to run with the burners. He is an all-around great prospect, and it is extremely hard to pick holes in his game, great off the field as well. He will step in from day 1 and start, and make immediate impact. Close second to Ndamukong Suh for the best overall player in the draft and is a Top 5 lock.
