Extremely accurate, hits receivers in stride (69% Completion percentage in college)
Very smart, should have no problem learning an N.F.L offense
Gets the ball out quickly, anticipates routes well, ball gets released before receiver breaks
Moves well in the pocket. Does a good job of stepping up and avoiding pressure
Can make all the throws on the field.
Good trajectory on deep ball
Great decision maker, rarely makes mistakes. Doesn't force the ball, and finds the open man
Does a good job selling play action, and uses his eyes very well to look off safety.
Excellent, N.F.L ready footwork
Cons
Missed almost entire Junior season with serious injury to throwing shoulder
Has good but not great arm strength, can't force balls into tight windows once a play breaks down
Needs to work on taking the ball out from center, and perfecting 3 and 5 step drops
Very thin, needs to hit the weight room
Overall
Bradford almost left after his redshirt Sophomore season and would have competed with Matt Stafford to be the top quarterback in the draft. However he returned to college and endured a season from hell. In his first two seasons Bradford put up eye popping numbers with the best offensive line in college football and was hardly ever touched. We wanted to see how Bradford would do this past season when he had a below average line and weapons. He only played two games last season because of a serious injury to his throwing shoulder. Durability is now a huge question mark. However Bradford does possess the best skill set of any quarterback in the draft. His best quality is his pinpoint accuracy, he does a great job of getting the ball out before the receiver makes his break, and hitting him in stride. Although he doesn't have elite arm strength, it is easily good enough to make every throw on the field. Very smart, he makes great decision on the field and is trustworthy with the ball in his hands, goes through his progressions very well. How he throws in his pro day and in individual workouts will go a long ways to determine if he is the #1 overall pick, or slides to the mid to late first round.
