Cam Jordan is going to be coveted by many teams come draft time. With half of the leagues teams playing the 3-4 there is always a need for 5 technique defensive ends. Most colleges play 4 man fronts, and NFL teams have to try to project how a prospect will transition from a DT spot or DE to the 3-4. So when a prospect like Jordan, who has started and excelled in a 3-4 he is very highly valued. What makes Jordan even more appealing is that he has the skill set to play in the 4-3 as a left (strongside) defensive end. Jordan has good size, strength, and speed to play in any system. His hands are some of the strongest in the draft and he knows how to use them against lineman to stay free and make plays. Also impressive is that Cam had 18.5 sacks for his career while playing a position that usually doesn't lead to high sack numbers. At the Senior Bowl, he dominated the practices and was labeled by many as the best prospect there. Cam won't have to wait long to see where he gets drafted and will go within the first 20 picks. He could go as high as Dallas at #9 but won't last past the Chargers at 18.
