Pros

Cons

Overall

When scouting Running Backs and Receivers, there are a lot of guys who are fast, and will blaze the track in their 40, but elite agility, is something that is much more rare. The ability for a guy to cut, change directions, stop and start, all without slowing down, and actually building speed is a skill that cannot be taught, and is something that guys either have, or don't have. To me David Wilson has that elite, Chris Johnson, LeSean McCoy agility. Not that he will be those players, but he compares favorably in that area. When you combine Wilson's elite agility with his lower body strength, balance, and ability to break tackles, you've got a guy who is a potential star at the next level. It's hard to find guys like him that can potentially take any play for a Touchdown, and are strong, physical runners, who break a ton of tackles. The area's of concern with Wilson are with his mostly with his size. I question whether he has the bulk to hold up to the physicality and grind of the N.F.L. He may be best suited to be a Weapon, or a change of pace guy, rather than a #1 Workhorse who can get 20+ carries a game. But if he's used most effectively, on sweeps, pitches, counters, and screen passes, much like how the Eagles use McCoy, I think he could produce at that same level.
