Overall
Pretty much every aspect of Thomas' scouting report needs to be denoted with the asterisk of playing in the triple option attack at Georgia Tech. It is the reason he was so successful (25 Y.P.C, 8 TD's last season), but also contributes to his inexperience in playing in an N.F.L style offense, and running sharp routes, things he was not required to do in college. When Georgia Tech rarely decided to pass, Thomas was the only receiving option, catching 59% of the teams receptions as a junior, using his size and speed to beat single coverage regularly. Thomas is a little bit of a project, but he has everything you would want out of a number 1 receiver, and with some time could grow into something special. Thomas has tremendous potential, and some team will pick him up in the late first, or early second round.
