Ed Dickson is a very underrated player by most, but with his athleticism, and strengths as a receiver, I feel he will be a very productive receiver at the next level, and probably will get drafted too low. Dickson compares well to Redskins tight end Chris Cooley (When Healthy), can be lined up in the slot, out of the backield, or on the line and be effective. Has great hands, and excellent ball skills, catches everything thown his way, and has the body control to adjust to poorly thrown balls. On the downside, Dickson right now is not a complete tight end, he struggles mightily as a blocker. Dickson is not too small, but needs to add some muscle, and do a better job in the trenches of creating proper leverage, would also like to see more phyiscality and nastiness out of him. Dickson at the very least will be able to find a role as a #2 receiving tight end, but if he can improve his blocking, has the ability to be one of the better tight ends in the league.
