Pros

Cons

Overall

Dontay Moch is another one of these new breed DE/OLB who are 240+ pounds but run like cornerbacks. How a human being who is 248 pounds, can run a 4.44 40 yard dash is beyond me, and really testifies to how much better today's athlete is. Moch is a pure 3-4 edge rusher, and that's it, he is a liability against the run, so he will not fit in a 4-3, unless only used as a 3rd down pass rusher. But in a 3-4 he can have his skills shine through, while his weaknesses can be masked. He is just a phenomenal athlete who can beat any OT in the league 1-on-1 to the outside, has shown the ability to get off blocks, and is pretty solid in coverage with much room for improvement. Moch is a very safe pick, as his athleticism is unprecedented, and he is just too athletic not to succeed, but he must be used properly. He should go early in the 2nd round to a 3-4 team who is looking to add immediate juice to their pass rush.
