Washington really burst onto the scene as a senior playing alongside fellow linebacker start Jerry Hughes. Washington got his first chance to really start as a senior, and took advantage of it, quarterbacking one of the most dominating defenses in the country last season to an undefeated record. Washington always seems to be around the football, due in part to his speed, and relentless pursuit of the ball. He gives 100% every play, is aggressive, and is good for a few monster hits every game. On the downside, what he has in speed and quickness, he lacks in size and strength. Doesn't have the strength to take down power runners by himself, or bully his way into the backfield. He played almost exclusively in T.C.U's funky 4-2-5 defense, so he really doesn't have a defined position on the football field, although he has the skill set to be successful at inside linebacker or weakside. Very solid player, who could help someone's defense immediately. Pretty much has locked himself into a position somewhere in round 2.
