For me the Detroit Lions could go two different routes with their first round pick (#2) overall. They could take #1 overall player Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska or they could go with OT Russell Okung from Oklahoma State. Suh would give them an impact defensive lineman who can help them build their defense and add to the recent aquisitons along the defensive line (Corey Williams and Kyle Vandenbosch). If they take Okung they can help to rebuild their line and give franchise Quarterback Matthew Stafford some much needed time and open holes for their running game. Right now I'm torn between the two. If I had to pick right now I would say they take Suh. The Lions showed last year that they want to go Best Player available and thats Suh. However I am not ready to rule out Okung. This could just be a ploy, but have some legs too it. But here are my two different mocks. In one the Lions take Suh, in the other they take Okung. Let me know what you think.
