In any other year McCoy would be the consensus top defensive tackle. However he is 1B to Suh's 1A, but not that far behind. McCoy is a fierce pass rusher, who excels at getting after the Quarterback and using his speed and explosiveness to get into the backfield. The separation between McCoy and Suh lies in Suh's ability to stop the run and eat up space. He doesn't possess the upper body strength to cover two gaps which will have 3-4 teams looking for other options. McCoy's best fit is a one gap penetrator much like former Sooner Tommie Harris. He is a very good pass rusher and would do well in a Tampa 2 type of defense. He will come off the board in the top 5 as the second DT off the board after Suh, with Detroit and Tampa being likely destinations.
