Joe Haden

Pros

Cons

Overall

Joe Haden is the best Corner in this years draft by a long shot. Nobody else compares with his elite mix of speed and physicality. Haden can completely shut down the opposing teams number 1 receiver as he did to Julio Jones in this years SEC Championship game. Despite his size at 5-11, he has no trouble in man against tall receivers, he gets a great jam off the line, and has great speed which allows him to excel in bump-and-run coverage. His few flaws are things that can easily be cleaned up with coaching, preparation, and concentration during games. Haden is a supreme talent, and a Top-10 prospect in this years draft, though he may be in for a bit of a slide on draft day because of the needs of teams in the top 10 picks. Whoever does decides to pull the trigger on Haden will be getting a shutdown corner for many years to come.
