Aaron Hernandez's game is pretty simple to break down. He is a great athlete an excellent receiver, good route runner, can get separation, and can make plays with the ball in his hands, but on the downside he offers little-to-nothing as a blocker. Look overmatched and sometimes week, when trying to block in the trenches, is not physical, and just didn't seem to be very interested in blocking while in college, possibly a symptom of the way he was used in Florida's spread offense. Hernandez offers great value for a team who is looking for the luxury of a pass catching tight end, and already has a blocking tight end. But as of now, teams looking for the full package at tight end will move on to the next guy. Hernandez will be the second or third tight end off the board at any point in the second round, but shouldn't last till the third.
