This may be the best class I can ever remember for Offensive Guards, and Ijalana is another guy who would, in most years be the first Guard off the board. He was a dominant Left Tackle at Villanova, and while he would probably he fine at Right Tackle, his best fit is at Guard and he could really excel there. He has the ideal height, weight, and arm length, and since he has played tackle, he brings added athleticism to the table. He has good strength which allows him to push his defender backwards, and positions himself well, so as to pave large holes for the running back to hit. I think he could come in and start right away at Guard for any team, but if he continues at Tackle he will take time to develop. His footwork, pad level, and ability to block speed rushers 1-on-1 is a work in progress, but he possesses all the skills to be a solid guard right away.
