Overall
Jerrel Jernigan has been drawing up a lot of comparison to Chiefs All-Purpose player Dexter McCluster, so sticking with that comparison, they are essentially the same player, except Jernigan is a good deal faster. Jernigan does all his damage underneath, drag routes, bubble screens, reverses, and slants. He is one of those guys who is a threat to take it to the house every time he touches the ball, thus demanding the defense's attention on every play. Because of his size, and inability to beat tight coverage out wide, he will never be a #1 receiver, but he will be very valuable as a dynamic, Do-it-All type player.
