What you see is what you get with Jacoby Ford, he is the fastest player in this years draft, and will be the fastest guy on the field almost every game in the pros. He has game changing speed, and at the very least is a dynamic return man. But that really is his upside, he is short, not a good route runner, and drops too many passes. You can compare him to Ted Ginn, and that is not a bad comparison. Everybody thinks Ted Ginn sucks, he doesn't, he just was not nearly worth the ninth overall pick in the draft, Jacoby Ford like Ginn will draw attention as a slot receiver who can run by any defender, and can take any kick or punt back to the house. Jacoby Ford, like Ted Ginn should have been, will be picked in the 3rd round somewhere, and will fill a role on a team as a slot receiver and return man.
