Overall
Justin Houston exploded onto the scene this year when Georgia started using Houston as a 3-4 rush linebacker, as he used his fantastic combination of size and speed to wreak havoc on the SEC. One of the best words to describe Houston is "Explosive". He fires out of his stance, and immediately gets blockers on their heels, then he can either use his strength to force his way into the backfield, or use his speed and quickness to shoot the gap or turn the corner. Houston though is not a finished product. He is inexperienced in man coverage, and tackling in the open field. At Georgia he was mostly confined to battling in the trenches, but when forced to be in open space, he looked a bit awkward. He has the skills and drive to get better in these aspects, and with some coaching he should be able to improve with no issue. Houston is exclusively a 3-4 prospect, and with so many 3-4 teams now, and most of them needing more pass rushers we will appeal to over half the teams in the first round, and could go anywhere from #11 to Houston or could possibly last into the end of Round 1.
