Jonathan Martin has been the starting LT for Stanford the past three years, and done a great job of protecting Andrew Luck's blind side. He is at his best in the run game where he can use his athletic ability, and strength to physically move defenders where he wants. He has the good footwork to get back into his stance and wall off defenders, while also uses his upper body strength to bury defenders once he gets his hands on them. However he does struggle with his depth, which can allow speed rushers to get by him. In the passing game he is good, but not elite. He can also struggle to give a strong punch and keep the defenders hands off of him. Though Stanford is a run-first team, so he hasn't been asked to drop back all that much, so when he gets to the NFL and with a good line coach he could develop into a much better pass protector. Martin's stock has stayed the same in our opinion, but for whatever he seems to be slipping in other people's eyes, and will likely go late in the 1st round, when he really should go in the Top 15.
