Kendall Wright is a very talented player, and a dynamic athlete, but I view him as a "Luxury Pick" and more of a "Weapon". Wright is a big time talent, and he should go in the 1st round, but I just don't think he is a #1 Receiver, and he should never be a guy who is the #1, Go-To option option in a passing attack. He reminds me a lot of what Victor Cruz did for the Giants this past year, a great weapon to have on offense, but I don't know how well he would have done without Hakeem Nicks. Like Cruz, Wright is the type of player who can take any simple slant or drag route to the house, turning a nothing play, into a big play. He has great hands, and catches everything thrown his way, thanks to good focus and concentration. Wright also is a sharp, smart route runner, with the ability to create separation and find soft spots in the defense, but may take a short time to learn an N.F.L Playbook. I currently have Wright going to Houston at #26 in my Mock Draft, and that type of situation would be perfect for him. Some place where he isn't the #1 guy, and won't be forced to beat double teams on a regular basis, but a weapon on offense who can make big plays, and kill defenses who give him room to do his thing.
