Pros

Cons

Overall

Ryan Kerrigan was an unblockable force the Purdue Boilermakers the past 2 years, and he will immediately add some juice to whichever team takes him. His relentless effort, high motor, and physicality are things that can never be taken away from him, and will make him a good player for a long time. He is solid in every aspect of the game, and is a playmaker who always seems to be around the guy with the football, wherever he is. He has the size and versatility to be a fit in both a 4-3, and 3-4 scheme, although his transition to the 3-4 would take a bit longer because getting used to playing in space would be something new to him. He is pretty much maxed out in ability, but he could stand to improve in a few minor areas of his game. He plays too tall, and could create better leverage, and also needs to work on some secondary moves to go to if his first move fails. He is limited in athleticism, and there are some minor injury concerns with him. All things considered, he is a very safe pick, who will be a consistent player in the league for a long time. He will be a mid 1st round pick.
