Pros

Cons

Overall

Kindle is one of those prospects you would describe as being "Raw", a ton of talent, great athlete, but is far from being a complete player. As mentioned, Kindle's best asset is his speed, he is explosive off the edge, and has great closing speed. Another thing that works in his favor is his flexibility on the field, he has played and played well in both a 2 point stance, and a 3 point stance in College. He has the ability to be very adept in coverage, has the size and athleticism, diagnoses plays quickly, and has fluid hips. So he could play as a 4-3 outside linebacker, or ideally a 3-4 rush linebacker where he can use his speed and athleticism to get after the quarterback. On the downside there is the potential the Kindle could bust in the NFL. While he used his great speed and athleticism to be effective in college, he is going to get smarter as a pass rusher and utilize more moves besides speed. He needs to get stronger against the run, and more physical at the point of attack. Those are things that can be taught at the next level, and with good coaching he could grow into a fierce pass rusher at the next level, because he posses the things that cannot be taught. Kindle's upside and potential should be good enough to be snatched up in the mid-to-late first round.
