Kyle Wilson is a player that is hard not to fall in love when you turn on the game tape. Small in stature at only 5-10 195, he plays like he is much bigger, he is physical at the line of scrimmage, goes for big hits on the ball, and is a great leaper who has the ability to go up and knock balls away from big receivers. Technically he is also very sound, has good timing coming out of his back pedal, has fluid hips, and drives on the ball. He is also an overall great athlete, has great speed, agility, and is a dynamic return man. On the downside he is only 5 foot 10 which is short for a starting N.F.L corner, and does get beat over the top more often than you would like. His aggressive style can also be a detriment to him as he occasionally guesses wrong and gets himself out of position. The latter are things that can be taught and improved on through coaching and study at the next level, so that isn't a huge concern. Wilson plays like Eagles corner Asante Samuel, and has skill set to be just as a good a corner in the N.F.L. Wilson should come off the board in the late first round.
