Former Auburn Left Tackle, and now NCAA Champion Lee Ziemba was good enough to stop by and answer a few questions regarding his time at Auburn, the Senior Bowl, and his NFL Prospects. Check it out!

Draft Geek: First off, I gotta congratulate you on being a National Champ. What a transformation you guys had in just 2 short years under Coach Chizik. What can you say about Coach, and the Auburn football program moving forward?
Lee Ziemba: Coach is amazing. He is a players' coach and he really does everything the right way. He is way more responsible for the success we had last year than he will give himself credit for.
Draft Geek: I gotta say, you probably have the coolest name of anybody in this years draft. They gotta have a sweet nickname for you right?
Lee Ziemba: Most of my close friends just call me Z.
Draft Geek: How was your experience at the Senior Bowl? How did you think you performed? And who was the toughest guy you had to go up against for the first time?
Lee Ziemba: The senior bowl was amazing. I made tons of new friends. I was extremely happy with the way I performed during the practices. I felt like, especially, during team drills I excelled. The game was awesome. I felt like during the game I was smooth and executed my blocks almost 100% against highly ranked competition. I hope you got to watch the film.
Draft Geek: What goals have you set out to achieve in the NFL?
Lee Ziemba: I would like to start from day one and win multiple super bowls.
Draft Geek: What do you consider to be your greatest strength on the field, and what would you most like to improve on?
Lee Ziemba: My biggest strength on the field is my toughest and unwillingness to be beaten.
Draft Geek: You played mostly Left Tackle in college, but really, you have the versatility to play almost any position on the offensive line. Which spot do you think you would be most successful at in the pros?
Lee Ziemba: All of the NFL scouts and GM's I have spoken to say that I am a tackle and would be drafted as such. If it turns out that I would be needed to play guard I would be more than happy to learn it. I just love to play the game. The first time I have ever played guard was at the senior bowl for tuesday's practice and that was because we were short on numbers. I was given about 2 hours warning that I would be playing a different position for the day. I struggled during one on ones but during team drills I performed well. Coach D for the Bills gave me props. It is so much different inside.
Draft Geek: Which current or former NFL Offensive Lineman do you most compare yourself to?
Lee Ziemba: I admire Matt Light of the New England Patriots. He is a great player.
Draft Geek: Are you looking forward to this whole pre-draft process and being under such close scrutiny? Or would you just like to skip right to the Draft?
Lee Ziemba: I like being able to show my skills off to potential employers. I feel like I have done well so far and have received great feedback from those who matter. The hard part is trying to ignore those who do not matter saying i'm not athletic enough to do the job.
Draft Geek: What NFL Defensive player would you most like to pancake?
Lee Ziemba: I pride myself in being physical. So anyone lined up from me is who I would most like to pancake. That is my goal on each and every play.
Draft Geek: What is an NFL Franchise going to be getting with Lee Ziemba in terms of off the field, and personality?
Lee Ziemba: NFL teams will being getting a tough guy who loves every aspect of the game from practice to meetings and the games. Off the field they will be getting a history buff who loves to learn about anything. A calm guy with a good sense of humor that loves to see people laugh.
Draft Geek: If you could choose any NFL team (Or style of team, or city) to go to, where would it be?
Lee Ziemba: Any city there is an NFL team is the model city for me to live and play ball in. I love to play the game and I would play the game for an NFL program for room and board.
Draft Geek: OK, final one, and I'll let you out with a soft one. What are you doing on gameday to get yourself fired up?
Lee Ziemba: Game day for me is tough. I'm so superstitious I drive myself crazy. The game itself fires me up. I can't eat much on game day. I listen to Johnny Cash on game day.
Draft Geek: Thank you so much for your time Lee. Congrats once again on winning the National Championship, and best wishes in your career moving forward!
