Linval Joseph

Pros

Cons

Overall

Linval Joseph is an extremely talented player with a very high ceiling, but needs more time to develop his game, and probably would have been better served returning for his senior season instead of declaring as a Junior. At 6-4 330, he has terrific size, and perfect size to play the nose tackle position in the 3-4. He also has ideal strength for the position, may be the strongest player in this years draft, can get into the backfield by just overpowering opponents, also is an underrated athlete, he is very quick for his size, and moves around pretty good. On the downside, he is very raw as a pass rusher, and his technique has flaws. He won't be able to rely so heavily on his strength in the pros, and needs to do a better job creating leverage, lowering his pad level, and using his hands to get by defenders, all are things that can be taught though. Will most likely be selected by a 3-4 team, somewhere in the third round.
