Pros

Cons

Overall

If Lance Kendricks was about 3 inches taller, he would be viewed as a second round draft pick, but because of him being undersized, and his limitations as a blocker he won't be able to see as many snaps and will become a role player. He has the ability, and reminds me a lot of Aaron Hernandez of the Patriots. He is a tremendous athlete, but the size just isn't there to be a 3 down player. But he can immediately step in as a pass catching weapon that can be used in a variety of ways. Out of the slot, on the line occasionally, and can also play some H-Back. He will never be a dominant Tight End, but there is a place for a guy like Kendricks, and if used properly he could be a guy who catches 40-50 passes a year and score a few TD's. He will be a luxury pick for someone, and will probably come off the board during rounds 4 or 5.
