Overall
Martez Wilson has by far the most potential and upside of the Interior Linebackers in this years draft, but he doesn't come without a risk factor as we do have quite a few concerns. To start with Martez Wilson is a Beast, to be 6-4, 250 Pounds and run a 4.44 40 is just insane, he is one of the best athletes in this years draft, and this is no questioning he has the talent to be great. He is pretty far away from being a polished, complete player though. Two of the most important aspects of being an NFL Linebacker, open-field tackling, and dropping into coverage, are both weaknesses's. In run support he is usually always in the right place at the right time, but he plays too fast, and doesn't break down and stop to make the tackle. Also his coverage skills are lacking, but he has the talent and ability to be very good with some coaching. Wilson seems to be a Boom-or-Bust type pick, but with so much talent and potential, he will likely be the first Inside Linebacker off the board in the late first, to early second round.
