Mike Pouncey will always be compared to his twin brother Maurkice, Rookie Pro-Bowler for the Steelers. So comparing the 2 as prospects, Mike is just a little bit below the caliber of his brother. Mike has all the same physical tools and attributes that his brother does, but he lacks the dominance, and killer instinct that his brother does. While Maurkice is a dominant interior lineman, Mike is very solid and consistent. He is extremely athletic for a 315 Pound man, moves laterally very well, and does a good job walling off blockers while run blocking, and has the strength to hold off defenders in pass protection. He does a very good job engaging his defender, and keeping him engaged, and has added value because he can play both Guard and Center, though he would probably be best at Guard. As mentioned we would like him to be more aggressive, but other than that, and a torn Labrum at the end of the '08 season, he doesn't have very many weaknesses. He is a mid-to-late first round pick who probably will go in the early twenties.
