2010 NFL Mock Draft- Round 4

Updated: April 22nd

#99) St Louis Rams- Rennie Curran (OLB Georgia)
Rams need to take the best player available, which is by far Rennie Curran at this point
#100) Detroit Lions- Darrell Stuckey (Safety Kansas)
Would be an excellent partner at Strong Safety to Louis Delmas at free safety.
#101) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Anthony Dixon (RB Mississippi State)
Dixon is the power running back that Tampa currently lacks in their committee.
#102) Kansas City Chiefs- Koa Misi (DE/OLB Utah)
Kansas City really needs to add some pass rushers, and Koa Misi seems to be a Patriots, and now Chiefs kind of guy.
#103) Washington Redskins- Reshad Jones (Safety Georgia)
Laron Landry has not been exactly lighting the world on fire since being a top 10 pick, and they have little depth besides him anyway.
#104) Seattle Seahawks- Carlton Mitchell (WR South Florida)
Seattle is clearly in the market for a future #1 receiver, and if Carlton Mitchell develops he could be the guy. A 6-3 receiver who runs a 4.4 is always highly valued.
#105) Philadelphia Eagles- Donovan Warren (CB Michigan)
Philly just traded away Sheldon Brown, and they have been publicly critical of Asante Samuel, so cornerback is a pretty big need. Donovan Warren is a great cornerback, just really slow.
#106) Oakland Raiders- Dakota Watson (OLB Florida State)
Dakota Watson is a steal in the 4th round, a bit undersized, but tremendous athlete, and could crack the starting lineup as a rookie.
#107) Buffalo Bills- Clifton Geathers (DE South Carolina)
Buffalo will be making the transition to the 3-4 defense and need to add some size up front. Geathers at 6-7 280, is the ideal 5 technique guy, and could probably start as a rookie.
#108) Jacksonville Jaguars- Lindsey Witten (DE Connecticut)
Jacksonville filled their biggest need by adding DE Aaron Kampman in free agency, but their pass rush still needs to be upgraded and Lindsey Witten is a great value here.
#109) Chicago Bears- Walter Thurmond (CB Oregon)
If not for a torn ACL as a senior, Thurmond would be off the board much earlier. If he heals up, he will be a steal for the cornerback needy Bears.
#110) Miami Dolphins- Larry Asante (Safety Nebraska)
Miami is in dire need of help at safety as Jason Allen and Gibril Wilson have been busts, Larry Asante offers great value here in the fourth.
#111) Tennessee Titans- Perry Riley (OLB L.S.U)
Tennessee lacks depth at outside linebacker and Perry Riley is the best strongside linebacker available. Very solid player.
#112) Carolina Panthers- Tony Pike (QB Cincinnati)
After cutting long-time starter Jake Delhomme, the Panthers should at least bring in someone to push Matt Moore, and big Tony Pike in the third round would be a perfect situation.
#113) San Francisco 49ers- John Skelton (QB Fordham)
San Francisco was able to fill their major needs with many early round picks, but here in the 4th they can take a chance on a developmental QB with a high upside.
#114) Denver Broncos- Danario Alexander (WR Missouri)
Danario Alexander is a poor mans Brandon Marshall, the 6-5 receiver is a big target, and could step in when Marshall finally departs from Denver.
#115) New York Giants- T.J Ward (Safety Oregon)
Even after signing Antrel Rolle in free agency, the Giants still lack depth at the position. T.J Ward is a hard hitting safety, who would have been off the board much earlier if not for a broken leg that ended his season.
#116) Pittsburgh Steelers- Torrell Troup (NT South Florida)
Casey Hampton is getting old, and finding good nose tackles in the draft is tough. Troup has the size and strength to be the next in line after Hampton.
#117) Atlanta Falcons- Javier Arenas (CB Alabama)
Aside from newly acquired Dunta Robinson, the Falcons have very little depth at corner, and Arenas offers great value in the fourth round.
#118) Houston Texans- Selvish Capers (OT West Virginia)
Capers is a very versatile offensive tackle who could play either position, and would add some much needed depth to Houston's line.
#119) New England Patriots- Marshall Newhouse (Guard T.C.U)
New England has filled all of their glaring holes with a bevy of early round picks, but you can never have too much depth on the offensive line, and Newhouse seems like a Patriots kind of guy.
#120) Cincinnati Bengals- Al Woods (DT L.S.U)
Cincinnati certainly use someone to mix into the rotation with Domata Peko, and Tank Johnson. Al Woods at 6-4 310 would be the ideal 2 technique tackle in Cincy's 4-3 defense.
#121) Philadelphia Eagles- Andre Roberts (WR Citadel)
Philadelphia lacks depth at Receiver beyond Desean Jackson, and Roberts is an under the radar prospect who could make an impact as a rookie
#122) Green Bay Packers- Syd'Quan Thompson (CB California)
Green Bay desperately needs a corner, but hasn't been able to pick one up thus far because of some players who have fallen right into their laps.
#123) Arizona Cardinals- Jason Fox (OT Miami)
Arizona has a big need at whichever tackle position Levi Brown is not playing. Jason Fox has the ability to play either right or left tackle, and would be off the board much earlier if not for a knee injury that cut short his senior season.
#124) New York Jets- C.J Wilson (DE East Carolina)
The Jets are in need of someone to man the 5 technique spot in their 3-4 defense, Wilson at 6-4 278 has a nice combination of size and strength and should be a good fit in their defense.
#125) Dallas Cowboys- Tony Washington (OT Abilene Christian)
Dallas is expecting Doug Free to step in at right tackle for the recently released Flozell Adams, but there are major doubts as to whether he can be successful as a full time starter. Washington is an ultra talented lineman with a ton of off-field issues though. Dallas is a team that could take a chance on him.
#126) San Diego Chargers- Kyle Calloway (OT Iowa)
With the Marcus McNeil situation in flux, the Chargers add some needed depth on the offensive line with N.F.L ready tackle Kyle Calloway.
#127) Seattle Seahawks-Mike Johnson (Guard Alabama)
Seattle's offensive line was atrocious last season, and they need to do everything they possibly can to get better there. Johnson and first round pick Anthony Davis are a nice start.
#128) Minnesota Vikings- D'Anthony Smith (DT Louisiana Tech)
With Pat Williams reaching the end of his career, the Vikings need to pick someone up to be his replacement. Under the radar prospect D'Anthony Smith is a great value here, and could easily be off the board much higher.
#129) Indianapolis Colts- A.J Edds (OLB Iowa)
You can never have too many linebackers, and A.J Edds is a very polished strong side linebacker who could make in impact as a rookie
#130) New Orleans Saints- James Starks (RB Buffalo)
New Orleans is in need of a power running back to pair with Reggie Bush, and Pierre Thomas. James Starks was a top senior running back before a knee injury ended his season before it started. If he heals up, he will be a steal.
#131) Cincinnati Bengals- LeGarrette Blount (RB Oregon)
Cincinnati is looking for someone to share the load with Cedric Benson, and Blount fits the Bengal profile.
