2011 NFL Mock Draft

Updated: April 21st

#132) Carolina Panthers- Jalil Brown (CB Colorado)
Richard Marshall is about all that they've got at Corner as of now. Brown is an underrated guy who can probably start right away.
#133) Buffalo Bills- Luke Stocker (TE Tennessee)
Shawn Nelson hasn't worked out, and Stocker is by far the best available player, and a huge steal.
#134) Cincinnati Bengals- Jarvis Jenkins (DT Clemson)
Cincinnati refuses to invest at defensive tackle, but rather choosing to continue picking up stop-gaps like Jarvis Jenkins here.
#135) Kansas City Chiefs- Alex Linnenkohl (Center Oregon State)
Casey Wiegmann is likely to retire, so he needs to be replaced. This is a very weak class of true centers, but out of who's there, Linnenkohl fits with the Chiefs the best.
#136) Arizona Cardinals- Greg Little (WR North Carolina)
This would be a huge steal if Little fell this far. He is a supreme talent, but with some definite character red flags, and he hasn't played in a year.
#137) Cleveland Browns- Da'Rel Scott (RB Maryland)
Is Peyton Hillis really the guy he played like last season? Could be. But there is the chance that he falls back, so picking up a talent like Scott here pretty much solidifies the backfield.
#138) Houston Texans- Chris Carter (DE/OLB Fresno State)
Houston needs 3-4 pass rushers desperately, and Chris Carter is a guy a lot of people like. He is very quick and explosive, but not the strongest guy. Houston just needs to get 3-4 bodies in there.
#139) Minnesota Vikings- Ahmad Black (Safety Florida)
Ahmad Black is not very fast, but he has played at a pretty high level at Florida, and Minnesota needs safety help really bad.
#140) Kansas City Chiefs- Dejon Gomes (CB Nebraska)
Dejon Gomes would excel in Kansas City's defense, played the Nickel Cornerback.
#141) San Francisco 49ers- Jeremy Beal (DE/OLB Oklahoma)
San Fran has been searching for consistent OLB play for many years now, without success. Beal has had a dreadful postseason offseason, but he was productive at Oklahoma, and is worth a flier here.
#142) Tennessee Titans- Rashad Carmichael (CB Virginia Tech)
Tennessee does not have much depth at cornerback, and because this years class is deep at corner, a pretty talented guy like Carmichael will fall and become a steal for somebody.
#143) Dallas Cowboys- Alex Wujciak (ILB Maryland)
Wujciak is a run-stuffing thumper, who is the perfect fit for Dallas' 3-4, where he can attack everything underneath, and not worry so much about coverage.
#144) Washington Redskins- Delone Carter (RB Syracuse)
Clinton Portis is done, and they are left with Ryan Torain and Keiland Williams, who aren't exactly Thunder and Lightning. Carter is a very solid back who should be able to produce for them right away.
#145) St Louis Rams- Pierre Allen (DE Nebraska)
Spagnuolo will likely go heavy D-Line in this years draft, and Pierre Allen is a nice player who can play End or Tackle in pass rushing situations.
#146) Miami Dolphins- Jah Reid (OT Central Florida)
Miami needs somebody to play Right Tackle across from Jake Long, and I think Reid can be the man for the job. At 6-7 325, Reid is a monster who moves pretty well, and with some development, he could be a very good tackle.
#147) Jacksonville Jaguars- Shiloh Keo (Safety Idaho)
Here we have Jacksonville again trying to find some reliable safety play. Keo is a very quick, explosive, and smart safety who has a good deal of upside.
#148) Oakland Raiders- Garrett Chisolm (OT South Carolina)
Garrett Chisolm is an under-the-radar guy, but he is 6-5 315, and is a pretty good athlete. He isn't near NFL Ready, but he could be something down the road.
#149) Philadelphia Eagles- Brandon Hogan (CB West Virginia)
Philly desperately needs depth behind Asante Samuel, and if Hogan can keep his head on straight, he will be a very good starter, it's just a matter of him not getting in trouble off the field.
#150) Minnesota Vikings- Jarriel King (Guard/Tackle South Carolina)
King has the ability to play Right Tackle or Guard, and has the size the Vikings like out of O-Lineman.
#151) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Marcus Gilbert (OT Florida)
Tampa is pretty solid at tackle, but they definitely could use some depth in case of injury.
#152) Indianapolis Colts- Alex Green (RB Hawaii)
Donald Brown and Addai are a solid combo when healthy, but that is rarely the case. Alex Green has been flying up board lately, and makes a nice fit for the Colts.
#153) Philadelphia Eagles- Mark LeGree (Safety App State)
The Eagles need somebody to play next to Nate Allen. Unfortunately, this is a horrendous class of safeties, so LeGree is the pick here as a terrific athlete, but obviously very raw.
#154) Detroit Lions- Chris Stewart (Guard Notre Dame)
Detroit has made it known they want to upgrade Stephen Peterman. Chris Stewart is just a monster at 350 Pounds, who can really get a push at the line.
#155) Washington Redskins- Cecil Shorts (WR Mount Union)
Cecil Shorts is a big time sleeper who scouts are very high on
#156) Seattle Seahawks- Owen Marecic (FB Stanford)
Seattle needs help in the backfield, and Marecic is a great value here, as an extremely tough, hard working guy, who is a coaches dream.
#157) Seattle Seahawks- Kristofer O'Dowd (Center USC)
I here have Carroll picking up another of his former players. But really they need a Center anyway, so this makes for a natural fit.
#158) Atlanta Falcons- Ryan Bartholomew (Center Syracuse)
Bartholomew tore up the combine, and has been excellent in workouts. He's got the size and athleticism, and I think will be a starter before too long.
#159) New England Patriots- Charles Brown (CB North Carolina)
You can never have too much depth at corner. And if Brown can rebound from the suspension last year at UNC, he could be a steal.
#160) Chicago Bears- Tim Barnes (Center Missouri)
I think Tim Barnes is a very underrated player. He can play Center or Guard, and makes for a great pick for the O-Line needy Bears.
#161) New York Jets- Deandre Brown (WR Southern Miss)
Deandre Brown has the potential to be really good. At 6-6 he is a monster, and has pretty good athleticism. He has been hurt, in the doghouse, and inconsistent, so that's why he is available here.
#162) Pittsburgh Steelers- Brandon Boykin (CB Georgia)
Pittsburgh needs depth at Corner, and Boykin is an excellent value here late in the Fifth.
#163) Green Bay Packers- Stephen Friday (DE/OLB Virginia Tech)
Stephen Friday is a hard working, physical player, who is a great fit as a 3-4 Rush Linebacker in Green Bay's defense.
#164) Baltimore Ravens- Derrick Locke (RB Kentucky)
Baltimore doesn't have much behind Ray Rice so taking a playmaking back like Derrick Locke makes a lot of sense.
#165) Baltimore Ravens- Stanley Havili (FB USC)
Havili is a very talented, athletic Fullback who can block, is a solid receiver, and is good for a handoff or two a game.
