2011 NFL Mock Draft

Updated: April 22nd

#166) Carolina Panthers- Lance Kendricks (TE Wisconsin)
Another case of Carolina taking the best available player
#167) Cincinnati Bengals- Cliff Matthews (DE South Carolina)
Carlos Dunlap was great down the stretch last season, but they don't have much beyond him.
#168) Denver Broncos- D.J Williams (TE Arkansas)
Daniel Graham is old, and whoever the young QB in Denver will be, is going to need some weapons
#169) Buffalo Bills- Alex Henery (Kicker Nebraska)
Buffalo had the 4th worst percentage of field goals made, and the fewest made. Henery is a lefty that can really boot it!
#170) Cleveland Browns- Terrance Tolliver (WR LSU)
Cleveland just needs playmakers, and Tolliver has the potential to be a very good receiver.
#171) Arizona Cardinals- Henry Hynoski (FB Pittsburgh)
Ken Whisenhunt is always looking to add some power to his offense, and Hynoski is an under-the-radar player who can really bust some skulls.
#172) Minnesota Vikings- Jake Kirkpatrick (Guard/Center TCU)
Minnesota needs interior line help bad, and Kirkpatrick is a big, versatile player who can at the very least be a valuable backup.
#173) Seattle Seahawks- Virgil Green (TE Nevada)
Virgil Green is a tremendous athlete with a ton of upside, which will be great for projected new QB Jake Locker.
#174) San Francisco 49ers- Demarcus Van Dyke (CB Miami)
San Fran needs CB help desperately, DVD is raw, but was the fastest guy at the combine, and has some upside.
#175) Tennessee Titans- Brandon Fusco (Center Slippery Rock)
Fusco seems like the type of guy the Titans like on their offensive line, he is a small school guy but has a lot of potential.
#176) Dallas Cowboys- Wayne Daniels (DE/OLB TCU)
Dallas needs to add to their pass rushing rotation, and Daniels has been very productive in a very similar defensive scheme at TCU
#177) Washington Redskins- Mike Blanc (DE Auburn)
Shanahan loves to take D-Lineman, and Blanc is a big, strong guy who can add some depth to their rotation.
#178) Houston Texans- Stevan Ridley (RB LSU)
How good is Arian Foster? I don't think anybody can say for sure, but it never hurts to add some insurance.
#179) Miami Dolphins- Allen Bradford (RB USC)
If both Ricky Williams and Ronnie Brown are gone, it opens up the need for not just 1, but 2 new running backs.
#180) Baltimore Ravens- Richard Sherman (CB/S Stanford)
Baltimore's secondary is very mediocre, and can only be improved with added depth.
#181) Oakland Raiders- Niles Paul (WR/KR Nebraska)
Niles Paul is a guy who can be a playmaker as a return man, and be effective out of the slot.
#182) Jacksonville Jaguars- Adrian Moten (OLB Maryland)
Adrian Moten is a great athlete, but just undersized. If he can bulk up, he could be a functional player.
#183) San Diego Chargers- Darren Evans (RB Virginia Tech)
Ryan Matthews continued his trend of getting hurt, so adding another back to the mix can only make them stronger.
#184) Arizona Cardinals- Justin Boren (Guard Ohio State)
Arizona needs to dedicate this draft to offensive lineman, and here we have them taking another one in Justin Boren.
#185) New York Giants- Graig Cooper (RB Miami)
Brandon Jacob's situation is very fluid, and Ahmad Bradshaw is an UFA, so the G-Men will definitely be looking to add some talent to the backfield.
#186) Denver Broncos- Karl Klug (DT Iowa)
Denver needs defensive lineman in a bad way, Klug will be a good depth/rotational guy
#187) Tampa Bay Buccaneers- Anthony Gaitor (CB Florida International)
Anthony Gaitor is somebody I think is very underrated, and could be a steal here late in the 6th.
#188) Indianapolis Colts- Devon Torrence (CB Ohio State)
Indy always takes a cornerback late in the draft, and Torrence is an experienced cornerback who fits the Colts scheme.
#189) Denver Broncos- Jerehima Hunter (OLB Iowa)
Hunter is a big, physical linebacker who has a chance to a be an impact rookie right out of the gates.
#190) San Francisco 49ers- Bryant Browning (Guard Ohio State)
The Niners have had a ton of picks already in the draft and have filled all their needs, but you can never have too many offensive lineman, and Browning is a good value
#191) Baltimore Ravens- Adrian Taylor (DE Oklahoma)
Baltimore can't go a draft without taking a defensive lineman.
#192) Atlanta Falcons- Jeron Johnson (Safety Boise State)
Atlanta needs safety help really bad, and while Jeron Johnson is not the answer, he can be a functional player, and help out on special teams.
#193) New England Patriots- Julius Thomas (TE Portland State)
Julius Thomas is a very raw, but terrific athlete with a high upside
#194) New York Jets- Tejay Johnson (Safety TCU)
Johnson will add depth at the Safety position, and help out on special teams.
#195) Chicago Bears- Da'Norris Searcy (CB/S North Carolina)
Da'Norris Searcy has the ability to play Corner, or Safety and has a lot of skill. Could wind up being a steal late in the 6th.
#196) Pittsburgh Steelers- Dion Lewis (RB Pittsburgh)
Pittsburgh is looking for a young replacement for Mewelde Moore, and Lewis is the perfect man for the job.
#197) Green Bay Packers- Akeem Dent (ILB Georgia)
Nick Barnett is definitely on the downside of his career
#198) New York Giants- Jacquizz Rodgers (RB Oregon State)
Even though I have them taking RB Graig Cooper just a few picks earlier, "Quizz" is an attractive talent that could take over Ahmad Bradshaw's role.
#199) Kansas City Chiefs- Kai Forbath (Kicker UCLA)
Kansas City also had issues with their kicking situation last year.
#200) Minnesota Vikings- Byron Stingly (OT South Carolina)
Stingly is a project to say the least, but he has excellent size, and some athleticism to work with.
#201) San Diego Chargers- Armon Binns (WR Cincinnati)
I think Binns is a very underrated prospect who fits what the Chargers like out of Wide Receivers.
#202) New York Giants- Jeremy Kerley (WR TCU)
Here we have the Giants with another weapon for their offense. Kerley will be an instant contributor out of the slot, and on special teams.
#203) Carolina Panthers- Will Hill (Safety Florida)
If Will Hill was anywhere close to being fast, he would be an early round pick.
