Pros

Cons

Overall

Mohamed Sanu is yet another guy I think is vastly underrated, and overlooked in the scouting community. Even though Sanu will not run a blazing 40 at the combine, he is one of the best athletes in this years draft class. He is built like a tank, every bit of 6-2 220, but is such a versatile athlete, so versatile he even spent time at Safety, Quarterback, and Runningback at Rutgers. He has the size you look for out of a #1 wideout, but has the skill set of a slot receiver who works great underneath, with the quickness to get open right off the line, but the size and strength to beat press coverage and work the middle of the field. Sanu also has an amazing set of hands. Thanks in part to his massive mitts, he never drops the ball, displays great focus and body control, and will make some catches that only a handful of Receivers in the league can make. Sanu is a raw route runner at the moment, who does great on simpler routes, but really hasn't been asked to run N.F.L style routes, double moves, and things like that. I don't see that as an issue for him, and I think it only shows that he can get even better. Sanu reminds me of a slightly more athletic version of Anquan Boldin. He will go in the early 2nd round, and I think he will make more than a few teams regret that they passed on him.
