Overall
They really don't come much smoother than Morris Claiborne. He isn't going to steal the show with many show-stopping plays like former teammate Patrick Peterson, but that's likely because he has his man so completely covered, nobody throws at him. Claiborne is NFL Ready, it is rare to see a guy just out of college who has mastered the game from a technical standpoint like Claiborne has. His pad level, footwork, positioning, and Football IQ are pristine. Besides all this are his exceptional physical skills. He has the speed to run with any receiver, the height so that balls are very rarely thrown over his head, and when the Quarterback is daring enough to throw the ball at him, he has ball skills to knock the ball down or intercept it. As far as Claiborne's weaknesses, the only real thing that stands out is that he will give up throws underneath, where he will give up a few more slants, and comeback routes than you would like. That's really it though for weaknesses. Claiborne is a guy you can put out there, without safety help, and trust that his man will be blanketed. It will not be long before Claiborne is a perennial Pro-Bowl Player. Claiborne will likely go in the Top 5, but definitely won't fall past #8.
