Pros

Cons

Overall

Center prospects that are as good as Konz are, coming out of college is very rare. To me, he is every bit as good as Steelers Center Maurkice Pouncey who came out a few years ago, who has gone on to be a Pro-Bowler. Konz is a dominating run blocker, who has paved the way the past 3 years for arguably the best rushing attack in the nation. He overpowers defenders with his dominating size and strength, quickly locking on to his man, and once he locks on, its play over. He profiles as a mauling road-grader, but is just about as good in pass protection. He plays with good balance, has quick feet, and anchors in very well. Overall, from a football aspect, it's extremely difficult to pick holes in his game, as he played in a system that fit him perfectly, and excelled. Konz is someone who can step in and start from day 1, and immediately upgrade a teams run blocking unit. I don't think it will be long before Konz is a future Pro-Bowl player, but he just doesn't get much attention because he's a Center. He could potentially go as high as 13 to Arizona, but the lowest I see him going is 21 to Cincinnati.
