Overall
Everything about Quinton Coples NFL future hinges on how hard he is willing to work to be great, and whether he can consistently put forth the effort needed to achieve his potential. From a physical/athletic standpoint, he is an extremely rare athlete. Guys at 6-6 and almost 300, are not supposed to be able to move the way Coples does. He has tremendous strength, which allows him to bully his was into the backfield, and man-handle O-Lineman when he wants to. His strength also allows him to be great against the run. He can easily maintain his gap, and can even handle 2 gaps when needed. He sets the edge very well, and stacks and sheds his blocker effectively to make regular plays on the ball carrier. Along with his strength, he possesses a high level of athleticism and quickness which force Lineman to respect the edge. When on, Coples is unblockable with just 1 man, but the problem with Coples is, more often that you would like, he doesn't seem to be playing as hard or as well as he can. If his team can get him to consistently work hard on and off the field, the sky is the limit for him, and he will be one of the best Defensive Ends in the game. Because of his pure talent Coples will not fall out of the Top 10.
