Overall
Rodney Hudson excels in every aspect of his game, he is a great athlete, and you can tell he is a very smart player, unfortunately his upside is limited because he is definitely undersized. He helped his stock out a ton by adding 20 pounds to get up to 299 at the combine, but still just isn't all that big. He has short arms, and while he is strong for his size, he just isn't a road grater nor dominant run blocker. He is however an excellent pass protector, and despite him being undersized he will be a very good starter at the next level, he just will never be dominant. His athletic ability and quickness, allow him to frustrate penetrators that can't get around him, walling them out of plays, and even though he is undersized, he is pretty strong at the point of attack, and holds his own in the trenches. Hudson is an excellent football player who gets 100% out of what he's got, and who knows, if he is able to gain a lot of muscle, he may overcome his lack of size and become a top notch guard. Until then he will be a very solid reliable starter in the league.
