Myron Rolle's story is well documented, he could have entered the draft as a Junior last season and been one of the top safety prospects in the draft, but instead chose to go over the pond to Oxford University to Study for a year as a Rhodes Scholar. Rolle has stated that he is fully dedicated to football, and wants to play in the N.F.L for at least a decade, and then become a neurosurgeon, and seems genuine about it. There are still doubters though that Rolle is committed to football over his other interests, and that if something goes wrong with football early he will bolt, and abandon his football career. On the football side of things Rolle is a very polished player, high football IQ, fundamentally sound, and a sure tackler. He is an ideal strong safety prospect, has good size and athleticism for the position, and is terrific in run support. I feel that Rolle is committed to football, and is a very underrated prospect. His draft stock is uncertain at the moment, he could go as high as the second round, or fall into the fourth round. If he does fall, he will be a steal.
