Pros

Cons

Overall

Sam Acho is a guy who does not have the ideal size, athleticism, or technique that you look for out of pass rushers, but he is just one of those guys who finds a way to get it done, and has been an impact player. His effort, tenacity, and motor are what get it done for him. As soon as the ball is snapped he immediately gets to work, with relentless hand use, and an effective bull rush. He usually doesn't break free right away, but give him a second or 2 to work on his man, and he just finds a way to get into the backfield. Him being undersized makes him a below average run stopper, which will likely force him to transition to 3-4 Outside Linebacker. He really doesn't have any experience there, and we haven't seen much of him being used in space, so the transition would all new to him and there will likely be a learning curve. Sam Acho doesn't fit the prototypical pass rushing prospect, but he has just found a way to get it done, and I wouldn't bet against him.
