Upside is limited
Overall
I am not as big a fan of Sean Lee as most people are, while I do feel when healthy he is a reliable starter, he doesn't have the athleticism and upside than many other linebackers in this class do have. Lee, like most linebackers out of Penn State is very smart, has a high football IQ, and has the fundamentals down pat. Lee on the other side is not fast, not strong, not good in coverage, and has serious knee concerns. Lee could start and play as a rookie, and if he can stay healthy, which is a major if, then he will be a reliable starter for many years, but is not a pro-bowl talent. Lee should get picked in the 3rd round, but may wind up finding himself a spot late in the second round.
