Stevenson Sylvester

Pros

Cons

Overall

Stevenson Sylvester is in my opinion one of the top 3 most underrated players in this draft, while I don't feel he is an elite prospect, I feel he should get picked in the 3rd or 4th round, but is widely labeled as a 7th rounder/un drafted player. Sylvester is the complete package at weakside linebacker, great tackler, take correct angles to the ball, and is polished in coverage. He really steps in game up, and plays at a very high level in big games, was dominant in their Sugar Bowl win over Alabama 2 years ago with 3 sacks and fumble recovery, and in this past seasons Poinsettia Bowl win, he was named defensive MVP, and scored a Touchdown. His stats and game film (Highlights below should be watched) speak for themselves, he has been extremely productive as a 4 year starter for the very good Utah Ute defense. His measureables are not good, he doesn't have good straight line speed, and is not very strong, but he is just a flat out football player who I wouldn't want to be against. Can get even better if he can add some muscle. Sylvester is viewed as a late round prospect, but will be a steal if that is indeed where he ends up
