Matt Tennant as a prospect is very comparable to current Lions center Dominic Raiola, a bit undersized, but plays the game with a certain sense of nastiness, physicality, and quickness. He uses his athleticism to his advantage by countering opponents moves quickly, keeping his feet moving, and has a good knowledge of the game, can make the calls at the line, and is very aware of his surroundings. On the downside though his size and strength are issues, he will get pushed back by bigger stronger tackles, and has a hard time getting a push in short yardage, and goal line situations. Tennant would be a great fit in a zone blocking system where his athleticism could be most effectively used. Should get picked in round 3, or 4.
