Pros

Cons

Overall

The only thing really holding Jordan Todman back is his size, if he was about 2 inches taller he would be a first round draft pick. Todman just does not run well enough at the line of scrimmage to be given 15+ carries a game. He has a tough time breaking free from the grasp of defensive lineman, and has a hard time getting through the first level of defenders. If he is able to break free from the first line of defense, he is about as good as anybody else out there. He has breakaway speed, is very agile, and can make defenders look silly in the open field. This scouting report looks a lot like the one that people gave Ray Rice, and he proved everybody wrong. Todman has the potential to be a Ray Rice type player, but it is more likely that he becomes a Tashard Choice type player. Somebody who will be good in a rotation, and be effective on third downs. He has a high upside, but is a safe pick as well.
