Accelerates quickly and can turn on the jets at any time
Good leaping ability, and body control. Can make an acrobatic catch
Great work ethic, mature, good locker room guy
Has good strength, and will go over the middle
A lot of potential
Cons
Doesn't have strong hands, lets passes get into his chest
Not overly agile or elusive in the open field
Doesn't break enough tackles
Not a sharp route runner to this point
Was not very productive in college
Has a tough time getting separation when he isn't just running straight
Overall
Taylor Price is very overrated in my opinion, I don't really get the fascination with him. He is considered by some to be a second round talent, I honestly wouldn't take him any earlier than the 5th round. While he does have very good size and speed, that's about it with him. He doesn't have good hands and drops too many passes, isn't a good route runner, and despite his speed, isn't a big play threat because he can't break tackles, and on top of that, he wasn't even able to be productive while playing in the MAC. Don't mean to be too hard on the guy, but he is definitely a developmental prospect that needs to refine his skills. While the talent is there, he needs to make vast improvements to his game. Price should go in the third round range.
