For this game you’ll get to see a couple of good Northern Illinois prospects that have a shot to go early in the 2019 NFL Draft. Defensive end Sutton Smith’s lead the nation with 15 sacks this season go to along with 14 he had in 2017. Smith is undersized at 6’1 20lbs but has both the speed and bend to attack offensive lineman and make it difficult to stay in front of him. On offense the Huskies have left tackle Max Scharping who may have to move inside to guard because of a lack of good athletic ability, but he has a strong upper body that allows him to dominant defenders when he gets his hands on them.

For the Blazers they have their own pass rusher in Jamell Garcia-Williams who finished with 9.5 sacks on the season. Garcia-Williams is an intriguing prospect with is 6’8 245lb frame and his ability to take over a game. Nose Tackle Anthony Rush is another player to watch as he is your typical run stuffing nose tackle who can use his 6’5 350lb frame to clog up running lanes cause teams and forcing double teams. True nose tackles tend to get pushed down in the draft, but Rush has the skill set to make an NFL roster.
