If you like offensive line play then you’re going to want to tune into this game as there are two tackles that are  under the radar prospects that should be taken on day three of the draft. Ohio left tackle Joe Lowery was graded out by Pro Football Focus as the top graded player in the MAC this past year. Lowery is at his best in pass protection as he only allowed 9 hurries in 334 passing attempts. At 6’7 and 310lbs he’s going to be an intriguing name to NFL teams. While Lowery hangs his hat in pass protection, the Aztecs left tackle Ryan Pope is also 6’7 but he is an old school mauler who wants to drive opponents into the ground. Pope is a big reason why junior running back Juwan Washington was able to rush for three straight 100 yard games to open the season before getting injured. This game also features one of the better quarterbacks in the MAC as junior Nathan Rourke has a bit of buzz in the draft community. While he likely doesn’t declare he’s bound to be a hot name this summer and we can get an early look at him. San Diego State has a couple of other prospects that are worth watching in linebacker Ronley Lakalaka and safety Parker Baldwin. Lakalaka is one of the top linebackers in the Mountain West using his aggressive style to accumulate tackles while Baldwin is at his best down in the box helping out in the run game.

  1. You didn’t mention AJ Ouellette who I’ve heard a lot about and I’m excited to watch tonight, any insight on what to look for?
