Eastern Michigan Prospects
#75 LT Cole Gardner
#52 DE Pat O’Connor

Old Dominion Prospects
#6 WR Zach Pascal

In a bowl season that sees games played in Boise and Detroit I’m not sure why a bowl game played in the Bahamas isn’t bigger, but when you have the MAC and CUSA sending lower level teams it’s not going to be a great showing. Neither team has had a good history of putting players into the NFL Draft and this year is really no different. Old Dominion receiver Zach Pascal has good size at 6’2 and provides the Monarchs with a reliable possession receiver while Eastern Michigan defensive end Pot O’Connor is the heart and soul of the Eagles as their leader and best defensive player. O’Connor isn’t a bendy end but does have above average quickness that has helped him achieve 19.5 career sacks. But the most intriguing prospect in this game is EMU LT Cole Gardner who is a former tight end who has good feet and could be a 6th or 7th round pick based on potential.

Louisiana Tech Prospects
#5 WR Trent Taylor
#7 S Xavier Woods

This a tough game to look for in NFL Draft Prospects because Navy is a good team but they don’t have another Keenan Reynolds that is going to get drafted. With Louisiana Tech though you have safety Xavier Woods who is one of the better safeties in the Group of 5. He’s a coverage safety who flies all around the field looking to make big plays with the ball in the air. He won’t have that opportunity against Navy who only averages around a dozen passes per game. What we will get to see if he can play fundamentally sound against a tricky rushing attack. Also keep an eye on Trent Taylor who is a small receiver but very quick but has special teams upside which will be his role if he makes an NFL roster.

Ohio Prospects
#6 WR Sebastian Smith
#44 DT Casey Sayles
#93 DE Tarell Basham
#99 DE Kurt Laseak
#33 LB Blair Brown

Troy Prospects
#53 LT Antonio Garcia

Here is another game that doesn’t bring in any marquee names but has a couple of late round prospects that could turn into role players at the next level.  The two players to keep an eye on actually will match up against each other in a classic defensive end offensive tackle battle. Garcia is a big tackle standing 6’7 and 304lbs using solid lateral agility and his length to shut down the edge. Going against him will be the 6’4 260lb defensive end Tarell Basham who was once a Freshman All American back in 2013. Basham is more of a physical edge defender using power and leverage to win. Both players are late round prospects but a good game against each other should help out.
