Powerful between the tackles runner with the burst and overall speed to gash a defense. Reads his blocks really well and makes the most out of his space. A one cut runner. Won’t make a lot of guys miss with agility, but he can plant his foot and go. Still has plenty of tread on the tires since he was used very sparingly at Alabama. Hasn’t done a ton as a pass catcher, but his hands don’t look awful. I think he can do the basics in this area. This is the best running back in the draft.
I fully expect Jacobs to be a top 50 pick and I’d be a little surprised if he didn’t go in the first round. I project him to be a three down workhorse back who you can build an offense around.
